Chandigarh reports three new Covid-19 cases

Chandigarh, August 6
Chandigarh on Friday reported three new Covid-19 cases taking the total number of cases to 61,970.
A positivity rate of 0.17 per cent was recorded today as 1,798 samples were tested.
The death toll in the city remains 811.
The number of active cases has fallen to 27 as five patients were discharged, including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.
As many as 61,332 people have so far recovered from the virus.
A total of 6,74,190 people have received the first vaccine dose while 2,12,466 have got both the doses.
