To mark the death anniversary of Nek Chand, creator of the Rock Garden, Sushma Sanwal, the first woman student of the renowned sculptor, today created an impressive village scene at the world-famous garden displaying a tube well, spinning wheel, curd churning machine and other expressive items surrounded by villagers wearing masks and greenery all around.

Sushma said through her work, she gave a message to society to wear masks in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic spreading in rural areas and also, exhibited the importance of greenery all around.

“All this has been fabricated from waste material,” Sushma said while paying a tribute her guru on his death anniversary.
