SGGS Collegiate Public School, Sector 26, reached the girls’ U-14 final during the ongoing CBSE Badminton Tournament: Cluster XVII at Manav Mangal Smart School. In the semifinal, the Sector 26 team defeated Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, 2-0.

In the second semifinal, Shivalik Public School, Sector 41, recorded a 2-0 win over Manav Mangal Smart School, Mohali. In the girls’ U-17 semis, Mind Tree School, Mohali, recorded a 2-1 win over Shemrock Secondary School, while in the U-19 semis, Alliance International School, Banur, defeated Paragon Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, 2-0 while SGGS Collegiate Public School defeated Madhuvan Vatika Public School 2-0.

Earlier, in the qualifiers, SGGS Collegiate Public School recorded a 2-0 win over Amity International, Sector 79, in the girls’ U-14 category. Shivalik Public School, Phase VI, defeated Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, 2-1. In the quarterfinals, Shivalik Public School, Sector 41, defeated Shivalik Public School, Phase VI, 2-0. In the girls’ U-17 quarterfinals, Mind Tree School registered a 2-0 win over St Mary’s School, Nagal.
