Chandigarh: The city on Saturday reported 60 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 21,719. The Covid toll remained at 351. While 21,011 patients have recovered from the disease, 357 cases are still active. — TNS

54 more contract virus in Mohali

Mohali: As many as 54 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 20,248. Meanwhile, 31 more patients were discharged from the hospitals after being cured of the virus. However, no death was reported due to Covid in the district till Saturday evening. Among the fresh cases, 37 were from Mohali (urban), two from Dera Bassi, five from Dhakoli and 10 from Kharar. The district has so far seen 20,248 cases while 19,308 patients have been cured. There are 556 active cases. With no death, the toll in the district stands at 384. — TNS

20 more infected in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district on Saturday reported 20 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the tally to 10,826. The Covid toll remained at 149. While 10,539 patients have recovered from the disease, 138 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 97.34 per cent. — TNS
