The SSP heard their grievances related to several civic and security issues, including the need for increased patrolling, illegal and haphazard parking — particularly on road berms and market areas, rising instances of cybercrime and the growing involvement of juveniles in criminal activities. They also stressed the importance of regular interactions between the police and senior citizens to foster a sense of safety and inclusion.

Also present at the meeting were officiating SDPO (East) Vijay Kumar and the respective SHOs. The officers assured the residents that efforts would be made to resolve their concerns promptly and effectively.

The session ended on a warm note when a senior citizen thanked his local beat officer for personally driving him to the venue, highlighting the humane side of policing that the force aims to strengthen through such initiatives.
