One more mini-Covid care centre will be set up in the city. The Chandigarh Administration has given permission to Kandhari Beverages Pvt Ltd to set up the facility at the Sports Complex, Sector 34.

During May/June 2021, Kandhari Beverages had successfully operated a mini-Covid care centre. “Partnership of good Samaritans from civil society with the Administration is the need of the hour,” said Yashpal Garg, Secretary, Health.

He said one such centre at Bal Bhawan, Sector 23-B, and another at Indira Holiday Home, Sector 24, were already on the standby mode. — TNS
