Chandigarh to impose weekend corona curfew from May 15

Chandigarh, May 13

The Chandigarh administration has decided to impose weekend corona curfew from 5 am, Saturday (May 15) to 5 am, Monday (May 17).

The decision was taken in a War Room meeting held today to review the COVID-19 situation in Chandigarh.

No person shall leave their home or shall move on foot or by vehicle or travel or stand or roam around on any road or public places during above said hours.

However, certain essential categories shall be exempted.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
