Chandigarh Transport Undertaking offers 35 sites in Sector 17, 43 on rent

The Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) has offered nearly 35 commercial sites, including shops, for allotment on a rent basis at the ISBT-43 and ISBT-17.

Apart from shops, food court, office space, exhibition rooms and guest house will be on offered for rent at the two bus stands.

The CTU has floated e-tenders for allotment of shops and other commercial areas for six years with annual increase of 5 per cent in rent.

Due to Covid-19, the rent of the allotted shop would be charged from the date of resumption of inter-state bus service.

As many as 25 commercial spaces are available on a rent basis from Rs7,000 to Rs2.14 lakh at Sector 17 and 10 commercial areas at reserved price of Rs30,000 to Rs4.15 lakh per month at ISBT-43.
