The UT police have registered a cheating case against a Jaipur-based company on a complaint of the project coordinator, Punjab Skill Development Mission, Sector 17, here.

The complainant alleged that Ajay Sachdeva and other directors of M/S Edu Light Carriers Pvt Ltd, Jaipur, were given the work order to provide vocational training to 352 candidates in Ropar district. A sum of Rs 45 lakh was paid to the accused for the work. However, they failed to provide the services.

A case under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC has been registered at the Sector 17 police station.
