UT Chief Secretary H Rajesh Prasad has suggested exploring the option of establishing a Skill University or a Centre of Excellence in Sarangpur to further strengthen the education ecosystem in Chandigarh.

Prasad today chaired a meeting to assess the performance and progress of major projects and reforms in government and aided colleges, as well as higher and technical education institutions in Chandigarh.

The Chief Secretary reiterated the Administration’s commitment to providing quality education, introducing employment-oriented and new-age courses, strengthening the Skill Development Department and ensuring convergence of all skilling schemes.
