An awareness poster carrying guidelines to support the mission of plastic-free Chandigarh has been revealed.

Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, president of the Chandigarh Traders Association, Sector 17, and Brand Ambassador for the Swachh Bharat Mission (Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh), along with Mandeep Singh, senior vice-president, met Rajeev Verma, Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh.

The Chief Secretary formally released the poster. He appreciated the initiative to curb plastic usage in City Beautiful. Panchhi urged all citizens to support the Municipal Corporation in spreading key messages such as “Say no to single-use plastic”.
