The Municipal Corporation and children associated with Don Bosco Navjeevan Society carried out a thorough cleaning of the green belt in Sector 26 here on the ninth day of a citywide campaign to spruce up parks and gardens.
Area councillor Dalip Sharma also participated in the campaign, joining the children in collecting and disposing of garbage in designated municipal waste collection vehicle.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma emphasised the role each individual could play in maintaining cleanliness. He encouraged residents to keep their homes, schools, workplaces and surrounding areas clean, and to manage waste responsibly.
