Chinese kite string banned in Mohali

Mohali, February 13

The district administration has imposed a ban on the sale, storage, and use of Chinese string (thread) in the district. The ban would stay in force from February 14 to April 13.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
