The Horticulture Division of Panjab University will organise the 12th chrysanthemum exhibition at Prof RC Paul Rose Garden, PU, from December 10-15.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar will inaugurate the exhibition. Prof Shankarji Jha, Dean of University Instructions, will preside over the function and Prof Karamjeet Singh, Registrar, will be the guest of honour. Prof RC Paul Rose Garden will be adorned with about 150 varieties of chrysanthemum. Seven new varieties — Sonali, Sapna, Mushtak, Parveen, Mahatma, Dorris, Freshman, Alfred – will be displayed this year, which have been procured from places such as Kolkata and Solan. — TNS
