The team carded a combined score of 11-under par in the Texas Scramble format, clinching victory on a countback after tying with two other teams. The tournament formed part of the Indian Punjabi Golfing Community’s major charity events.
In addition, Kahlon and his partner Carmen Kropinak finished tied-third in the PGA of Alberta Pro-Ladies Golf Championship at Millwoods Golf Club, scoring 40 Stableford points. The duo represented Broadmoor Public Golf Course, where Kahlon serves as director of golf and head professional.
Kahlon, now a Canada-based professional, will next compete in the prestigious PGA of Alberta Seniors Golf Championship at McKenzie Meadows Golf Club, Calgary, from August 25 to 26.
