Arjuna Awardee and Chandigarh golfer Harmeet Kahlon, along with teammates Sam Sekhon, Karan Dhaliwal and Joey Napora, won the Surjan Singh Sanghera Memorial Golf Tournament held at Red Tail Landing Golf Course, Edmonton, Alberta (Canada).

The team carded a combined score of 11-under par in the Texas Scramble format, clinching victory on a countback after tying with two other teams. The tournament formed part of the Indian Punjabi Golfing Community’s major charity events.

In addition, Kahlon and his partner Carmen Kropinak finished tied-third in the PGA of Alberta Pro-Ladies Golf Championship at Millwoods Golf Club, scoring 40 Stableford points. The duo represented Broadmoor Public Golf Course, where Kahlon serves as director of golf and head professional.

Kahlon, now a Canada-based professional, will next compete in the prestigious PGA of Alberta Seniors Golf Championship at McKenzie Meadows Golf Club, Calgary, from August 25 to 26.
