UT Adviser Manoj Parida on Friday announced that people could get themselves tested in private laboratories for COVID-19 in Chandigarh.

On the microblogging website, Parida revealed that people would not need a prescription to get themselves tested for the deadly disease, and that the test would cost around Rs, 2000.

"Good news.Any one can get himself tested in private laboratory for Corona,... no prescription needed now..Charges Rs 2000...," read the UT Adviser's tweet.
