Punjab’s Amaira Aulakh stunned fourth seed Inayat Sharma 7-6 (2), 6-0 to confirm her berth in the girls’ U-12 semifinals, during the ongoing CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-7) Tennis Tournament today. Top seed Reet Arora was awarded a walkover against Punjab’s Asees Kaur Brar, while third seed Rabiah Dullet defeated Navya Singla 6-0, 6-1. Second seed Sahej Lakhat also reached into the final-four by defeating the city’s Aahana Bhalla 6-2, 6-0.

In the girls’ U-16 category, top seed Mannat Awasthi defeated Rabiah 6-1, 6-0. Reet outclassed Paavni Panwar without conceding a single game 6-0, 6-0 and Vaidehi Pundir defeated Poonam 6-0, 6-2. Chandigarh’s Khushi Dangi overpowered second seed Kritika Sharma 6-2, 6-3. Fifth seed Anuj Pal, meanwhile, stormed into the boys’ U-14 semifinals by defeating Chandigarh’s Love Pahal 6-2, 6-0. Devansh Parajuli defeated third seed Meetpaul Singh Baweja 7-6(5), 7-5, while Keshav Dangi ousted Haryana’s Devvert Singh Kadian 6-1, 6-0. Sixth seed Chandigarh’s Parmarth Kaushik outclassed second seed Sumukh Marya 6-4, 6-4. In the boys’ U-12 quarterfinals, top seed Anay Pandey defeated Haryana’s Tanishq Makhija 6-1, 6-1. Punjab’s Sankalp Sachdeva defeated third seed Prabhroop Singh Kalsi 7-5, 6-3 and fourth seed Bhavish Sharma defeated seventh seed Divyansh Jindal 6-3, 3-6, 7-5. Punjab’s Yug Raj Mahi outplayed Ayaan Chandel 7-5, 7-5.

In the boys’ doubles U-16 semifinals, the team of Parmarth Kaushik and Keshav Dangi defeated Anish Sharma and Kadian 6-3, 6-1, while Gaurish Madaan and Sachit Thakur outplayed Abhinav Sangra and Arnav Chaudhary 6-2, 6-3.
