The NSS and NCC units of Multani Mal Modi College, in collaboration with the district administration, today organised a lecture on de-addiction under the Punjab Jaagoo Yatra initiative. The event aimed at raising awareness on the importance of living a healthy and addiction-free life.

College Principal Neeraj Goyal, in his address, emphasised the significance of awareness and understanding the root cause of drug addiction.

NSS programme officers Sanjeev Sharma, Devinder Singh and Gagandeep Kaur motivated students to “Say no to drugs and yes to life’. They emphasised the importance of staying away from substance abuse and focusing on personal growth and development.

NCC officer Lt (Dr) Rohit Sachdeva highlighted the need for adopting healthy life choices and creating a drug-free society for all. The lecture highlighted the devastating effects of substance abuse on individuals, families and society as a whole.
