Chandigarh, July 22
Chandigarh Congress SC cell chairman Dharamveer today flayed the UT Administration over a bus in Sector 22, which was being used for Covid vaccination allegedly with a BJP banner on the front and BJP activists with ‘gamcha’ inside the bus.
HS Lucky, spokesperson for the Congress, termed it “wrong and unethical as vaccination was being conducted with the taxpayers money and not on the BJP expense.”
“By putting banners on government buses, the BJP is trying to claim undue credit and misuse the government machinery to further its political interests,” he added.
Lucky demanded that the BJP activists should be immediately restrained from such activities otherwise it will be construed that the Chandigarh Administration was working hand in glove with the BJP and allowing undue favours.
