The Chandigarh Congress today organised three candlelight marches—two at Maloya Colony and the small flats, and one at Sunder Nagar Colony in Mauli Jagran—to protest against the killing of innocent persons in Pahalgam.

The marches were led by H.S. Lucky, president of the Chandigarh Pradesh Congress Committee, who, along with hundreds of party workers and local residents, paid homage to the departed souls and expressed solidarity with the victims’ families. Participants held candles and placards condemning the heinous act of terrorism and calling for peace and unity.

Addressing the gathering, H.S. Lucky strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack, terming it an assault on humanity. He emphasised the urgent need for national unity against terrorism and called upon the government to take decisive steps to ensure the safety of every citizen and tourist in the country.
