Contests mark RBU webinar

A webinar on “Transforming Global Health” was organised by the University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rayat Bahra University (RBU), to mark World Pharmacists Day.

Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Pro-Vice-Chancellor AC Vaid participated in the proceedings. Expert speakers included Prof Anil Kumar, Department of Pharmacology, University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (USPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, Ashish Garg, Regional Head, Asia Pacific Region and Manager, QA and Compliance-APAC Abbott Vascular, Abbott Laboratories, Limited, New Delhi, and Prof Geeta Aggarwal, Dean Academics, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, New Delhi.

Jatinder Sharma, Manager Production Operation and Operation Excellence, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, and Amrik Singh, Registered Pharmacist, BC College of Pharmacists, owner of Prime Care Pharmacy, Surrey, BC, Canada, were invited as special speaker for the webinar.

Over 150 participants took part in various competitions such as e-slogan, e-pharma collage and declamation contests on the occasion.
