The former chairman of the bank failed to attend three consecutive board meetings without providing any explanation leading to his removal from the Board of Directors.

Anuradha S Chagti, Managing Director of the bank, informed the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Chandigarh, that three Board meetings were convened this year, and all directors, including Sharma, were duly notified.
