Cops assaulted at naka in Mohali

Mohali: An unidentified driver hit the policemen with his car near a naka at the Phase 8/9 chowk in Mohali on Thursday and manage to escape the spot. Based the on the complaint of SI Om Prakash, a case under Sections 353, 188, 279 of the IPC has been registered at the Phase-8 police station in this regard. The police are searching the suspect on the basis of the registration number of the car. — TNS
