Two prominent hotels, one located in the IT Park and the other in Industrial Area, Phase I, received threat emails. A team of the Operation Cell, a bomb squad and the local police conducted thorough searches at both locations.

However, no suspicious thing was found. The police have put the areas under continued vigilance.

A senior police officer said the investigation to trace the origin of the emails was underway. “An investigation has been initiated into the matter,” said the police. The threat appears to be a hoax, said a police official.
