Chandigarh: In view of the festive season, the Police Department held a meeting in which police personnel were asked to intensify patrolling, especially during late hours. The police personnel were directed to be extra vigilant. The meeting was chaired by SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal, which was attended by the SP (City), DSPs, all SHOs and in-charge of police posts. Staff of the police stations were asked to lay more nakas in crime-prone areas and busy markets. The police will also foot-patrol the markets. TNS
