Covid: 39 Chandigarh areas declared containment zones

Chandigarh, May 11

In view of increasing COVID-19 cases, 39 affected areas have been declared containment zones with immediate effect till May 31.

Regular screening and monitoring to be done medical teams in these zones, Mandip Singh Brar, Chandigarh DM, said in an order.

The affected areas are: Part of Sector 7, Part of Sector 15, Parts of Sector 22, Part of Sector 26, Part of Sector 29, Parts of Sector 32, Parts of Sector 33, Parts of Sector 35, Part of Sector 41-B, Part of Sector 42, Part of Sector 42B, Part of Sector 43A,  Part of Sector 44, Part of Sector 46, Parts of Sector 49A, Part of Sector 49, Part of Sector 50, Part of Sector 63, Parts of Dadu Majra Colony, Part of Sarangpur, Part of Dhanas village, Part of Khuda Ali Sher, Parts of Modem Housing Complex and Part of Pipliwala Town.
