Covid case count in Chandigarh rises to 282

Chandigarh, May 27

The total number of coronavirus cases in Chandigarh rose to 282 on Wednesday with 91 of them being active. Out of the total positive cases, Bapu Dham Colony alone has reported 210.

Meanwhile, a 32-year-old male and another male (20), both residents of the same house in Bapu Dham Colony have tested positive for Covid-19.

Another resident of Bapu Dham from a different house — an 18-year-old male has tested positive for nCoV. All are contacts of previous positive cases detected in two different houses. They are admitted in a hospital isolation facility.

Meanwhile, 46 Covid patients who had been earlier discharged and were in post-discharge quarantine centre at Sood Dharamshala were sent home today.
