The UT today capped the Covid-19 test at a private laboratory at Rs2,000. UT Adviser Manoj Parida met officials of SRL Diagnostics Laboratory, the only lab authorised to conduct the test in the city. The upper limit of Rs2,000 was fixed for the test. The existing rate is Rs4,500. Many states are charging Rs2,400 for this test.
