The police have arrested a man for damaging an ATM in a bid to steal money. Sumit Thukral complained that on the night of March 7, an unidentified man tried to steal cash from an ATM machine in the Motor Market, Mani Majra. The police registered a case and arrested 21-year-old Neeraj, a Mauli Jagran resident, during the investigation.

One held with 49 gram heroin

Chandigarh: The police have arrested a man with 49 gram heroin. The suspect, identified as Narinder Kumar, alias Aman of Mauli Complex, was arrested in Sector 48. The police have registered an NDPS Act case at the Sector 49 police station.
