Curtains on 3-day Vivek High Fiesta

The annual Vivek High Fiesta-2024 concluded at Vivek High School in Sector 38 here today.
Lieutenant General Kanwaljit Singh Dhillon (retd), who is chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT-Mandi, was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony. He addressed students and gave away awards to the winners of various events that took place during the three-day fest.
The fiesta culminated with awarding of an overall grand trophy to the top-performing school. The overall trophy — Vivek High Fiesta Grandmaster Trophy — was won by the hosts. However, keeping with the school tradition, it was handed over to the first runners-up, Carmel Convent School.
The events organised during the fest included a science drama, a science quiz, science café and science photography. History fest boasted of a history quiz and postal stamp designing competition.
