They particularly warned students against downloading APK files from unknown sources and against clicking on suspicious links, stressing that a single careless click could hand over control of a phone to an unknown person.

Key topics discussed during the session included creating strong passwords, digital arrest scams, online investment fraud, and the importance of using only official websites.

DCP Crime Manpreet Singh Sudan remarked, "In today's digital world, cyber awareness is our strongest shield. We must understand that just as technology is powerful, its misuse is equally easy. Therefore, remain alert and, in case of cyber fraud, call 1930 without delay."
