Chandigarh, August 2
The Regional Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (ROTTO) culminated its month-long awareness drive on organ donation with a cyclothon.
Flagged off by Prof RK Ratho, Dean, Academics, PGI, the cyclothon was organised in collaboration with Command Hospital, Chandimandir, and Cyclegiri, a youth club of cycling enthusiasts, on the eve of Indian Organ Donation Day. It saw participation of over 150 persons, including doctors and army officers. The cyclothon commenced in two legs, one from PGI and the other from Command Hospital. Both culminated at Sukhna Lake. — TNS
