The U-14 team of DAV Public School, Sector 39, registered 2-0 win over Amity International School, Sector 79, Mohali, on the opening day of the CBSE Badminton Tournament: Cluster XVII, at Manav Mangal Smart School.
SGGS Collegiate Public School, Sector 26, won by identical 2-0 score over Shemrock Secondary School, Sector 69.
In the U-17 category, St John’s High School, Sector 26, defeated the hosts, while SGGS Collegiate School defeated Alliance International School, Banur, 2-0.
The U-19 team of Shemrock defeated Alliance International 2-0, while the SGGS team ousted CM Public School, Rajpura, 2-0.
