Deputy Commissioner Dr Preeti Yadav today reviewed the functioning of a special public service camp organised under the “Aap Di Sarkar, Aap De Dwaar” initiative at Kharola village in Rajpura.
She directed officials from various departments present at the site to address public issues promptly and ensure timely delivery of government services without any laxity.
Dr Yadav, who was accompanied by Rajpura SDM Avikesh Gupta, also interacted with students at the government elementary school and reviewed the teaching process and mid-day meal arrangements.
She later visited the stalls set up by various departments, including health, rural development and panchayats, labour, District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, social security, forests and cooperation, to assess the services being provided to the public.
The DC urged residents to take full advantage of the public service camps being held under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s citizen-friendly initiative, “Aap Di Sarkar, Aap De Dwaar”.
Dr Yadav said such camps aimed to provide multiple government services under one roof, ensuring on-the-spot resolution of public grievances through Saanjh Kendras, Sewa Kendras and other departmental counters.
Among those present were BDPO Bandiap Singh and sarpanch Nahar.
