Amanjot Kaur: It’s beyond imagination that so many people have come to the airport to receive us. This victory is as much mine as it is theirs. I am happy that we are the reason for everyone’s happiness.

What is the special moment of the World Cup for you?

The moment of giving credit to each other for the victory will always remain special for me. Harman didi was giving credit to others and we were applauding teammates. This is the true meaning of team play.

What would you like to say about that catch in the final?

I wasn’t under pressure in any game, nor did we play the final under pressure. The team was simply asked to give their best. The result is in front of you. About that catch in the final, I would say that it was crucial for us, and I’m glad I was able to take it.

What was the team atmosphere like?

The team atmosphere was fantastic, we were motivating each other. Whenever a player was down, someone else would cheer her on. The support staff was doing the same with the players. We felt like a family.
