The Delhi Public School (DPS), Sector 40, clinched the interschool table tennis championship title for boys’ U-14 category. The team posted a 3-0 win over Guru Global, Mani Majra.

The team of Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, meanwhile, defeated St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, by identical score to finish third in the tournament.

In the interschool chess tournament for boys’ U-14 age group, the team of Bhavan Vidyalaya marched into the final by recording a 3-2 win over Saupin’s School, Sector 32. In the second semi, Strawberry Fields High School defeated St Stephen’s School, Sector 45, by same margin.

In the second round of the girls’ U-14 category, the side representing St Stephen’s School posted a 3-1 win over Tender Heart School, Sector 33, while Kids-R-Kids blanked First Steps 3-0. Saupin’s School outclassed DPS, and KBDAV, Sector 7, posted win over Ashiana Public School by identical scores of 4-0 each.

In the girls’ U-14 interschool football meet, Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, posted a 6-0 win over Sri Guru Harkrishan High Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 38. Ravya (1st, 22nd, 24th) and Araadhya (4th, 10th) scored major goals, while Dwitika (2nd) also netted one. River (22nd) and Ambhrini (28th) scored a goal each as Vivek High School, Sector 38, posted a 2-0 win over Carmel Convent School, Sector 9. SD School, Sector 24, posted a solitary goal, win over Kids-R-Kids, scored by Janessa (25th).

In the boys’ U-14 event, St Joseph’s School, Sector 44, posted 1-0 win over Ryan International School, Sector 49, with Vanshdeep (36th) posting the lone goal of the match. Kids-R-Kids defeated Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 23, as Aarav (2nd), Vismit (6th), Soham (22nd) and Vdhabhay (32nd) scoring a goal each. Kunal (18th) and Govind (28th) posted a goal each as GMSSS, Sector 32, defeated Banyan Tree, Sector 48, and St John’s School, Sector 26, overpowered Strawberry Fields team 2-1 with Hargun (6th) and Robin (14th) scoring a goal each for the winning side, and Aafran (3rd) pulling off one for the latter.

In the girls’ U-14 basketball tourney, the team of Strawberry Fields School posted a 21-6 win over Vivek High School. Nyrah gathered maximum points for the winning side, while Ayanna contributed a major share for the losing team. New Public School NPS), Sector 18, posted a 20-12 win over Carmel Convent School. Chandni gathered maximum points for the winning side, while Aprajita scored for the losing side.

St Anne’s School, Sector 32, posted a 13-6 win over DPS, Ryka scored maximum points. Anupriya scored a major share for the losing side. Gurukul Global posted a 22-13 win over RIMT, Mani Majra, as Ayanna scored maximum points for the winning side, while Shagun scored for the opponents.
