Keeping in view the surge in Covid-19 cases in Panchkula, the district administration today appealed to the devotees to wear masks and maintain social distancing while visiting temples. Deputy Commissioner and Chief Administrator of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board (SMMDSB) Mahavir Kaushik has urged the devotees visiting Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Kali Mata Mandir, Kalka, and Chandi Mata Temple, to help avoid the spread of virus by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.

Kaushik said instructions had been issued by the state government to ensure compliance of Covid-friendly behaviour in the public interest. As per the instructions, people have been advised to maintain cleanliness, social distancing and wear masks in public places. However, wearing masks has been made mandatory at places of gathering of 100 or more people.
