Patiala will face Kapurthala in the final of the Punjab Inter-District Cricket Championship for Dhruv Pandove Trophy, from June 26 to 29, at IS Bindra PCA Cricket Stadium.

In the semifinals, which concluded today, Kapurthala defeated Moga by 229 runs and Patiala ousted Gurdaspur on basis of the first innings lead.

In the first match, Moga, resuming from their overnight total of 132/4 in 52 overs, were all out for 246 runs in 109.2 overs. Vaibhav Saini (50), Sagar Khattri (41), Harish Kumar (40), Sidharth Sharma (28), Arshdeep Singh (26), Gurbaljeet Singh (25), Ankit Singh (14) and Manveer Singh (12) scored for the side. Prabhkirat Singh (4/54) was the main wicket-taker for the bowling side, followed by Sameer Khan (3/54) and Kamal Jajea (2/35).

In the second semifinal, Patiala lads defeated Gurdaspur on the basis of first innings lead. Gurdaspur lads posted 311/4 in 100 overs on the last day of the match. Saksham Singh (155), Aditya Marshal (45), Tushar (39),Vikrant Sharma (35), Danish Sangar (16) and Jai Sodhi (11) scored for the side. Damanpreet Singh (2/77) was the only notable wicket-taker for the bowling side.
