Chandigarh: Panjab University’s highly popular course on digital marketing will start on July 25 on SWAYAM, a portal of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. There will be no enrolment fee for the course and students may enrol for the course at https://onlinecourses.swayam2.ac.in/cec22_mg26/preview. Dr Tejinderpal Singh, Associate Professor, University Business School, said the curriculum was based on industry practices and standards. The course has visibility at the global level as it has been ranked amongst the top 15 online courses worldwide (amongst the top 5 in India) by Class Central in year 2019. TNS

Gharuan Varsity, PRSC ink pact
Mohali: Chandigarh University, Gharuan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Punjab Government’s premier enterprise Punjab Remote Sensing Centre (PRSC), Ludhiana, to enhance research and academic collaboration for application of the remote sensing and geospatial technology. With this partnership, Chandigarh University and the PRSC aim to share knowledge, faculty and resources to make advancements in the areas of geoinformatics and remote sensing focusing on advanced geospatial tools and techniques. A centre of excellence for geoinformatics and remote sensing was also inaugurated in the Department of Civil Engineering at Chandigarh University.
