Dodgeball Championship: Mani Majra govt school team wins

Chandigarh, April 17

Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mani Majra, defeated Sri Aurobindo School, Sector 27, (2-0) to win the girls’ title on the concluding day of the 3rd State Junior Dodgeball Championship for Sri Aurobindo Trophy.

Komal Bains (captain), Jasmine, Sonia, Garima, Riya Rawat, Asha Oli, Riya Kandpal, Anchal, Anshika Yadav and Priya Thakur represented the team. Sri Aurobindo School (B team)

ousted Government Model High School, Sector 43, (2-0) to claim the third position.

In the boys’ final, Sri Aurobindo School defeated Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mani Majra, (2-1). Arsh Kait (captain), Shivam Mishra, Mrityunjay Rao, Harshit, Abhishek Yadav, Priyanshu Dhanda, Shubham Bhardwaj, Lovish Sheokand, Yash Sheokand, Vishrut, Ukul Dhiman and Ayman played for the side.

Government Model High School Club, Sector 26, defeated Coaching Centre Club, Sector 29, (2-1).
