Drug abuse in schools should be checked

It is alarming that drug abuse is rampant among schoolchildren. The Administration must get hold of the drug suppliers, including women in the business. Drug abuse may be the reason behind increasing crime in the city. The judiciary should be stricter against drug abusers-turned-criminals. — Sukhwant Bhullar, Chandigarh

Acomplaint regarding a non-working streetlight pole (number 97) at the Motor Market in Mani Majra was registered on November 29, 2019, on the Municipal Corporation’s WhatsApp number. More seats at bus shelters

New bus shelters have come up in Chandigarh in the recent past, but only a few seats have been installed. Though the size of shelters is wide enough, the seating capacity is less. The Administration needs to enhance the number of seats for the sake of senior citizens, the differently abled and children. — Abhilasha Gupta, Mohali
