Following the emergence of a video in which two girls accused Manjit Singh from Lohgarh of supplying Chitta (heroin) in the Zirakpur area, the police acted swiftly, booking the accused and seizing banned contraband from him.

Two teams were formed under the supervision of Zirakpur DSP Jaspinder Singh to investigate the matter. The suspect, Manjit Singh of Lohgarh, Zirakpur, was apprehended.

During his search, 2-gm heroin were seized and a case under Section 21 of the NDPS Act was registered against him. Police officials said the accused had previously been booked under the same act in 2021.
