Chandigarh, March 6
The UT Administration today announced addition of five new financial services to its project e-Sampark, enhancing accessibility of financial solutions for city residents.
UT Adviser Rajeev Verma launched the new financial services from e-Sampark Centre at Sector 27 in the presence of Nitin Kumar Yadav, Home Secretary, and Sumeet Sihag, Director Information Technology.
Among the new services, Demat trading account, National Pension Scheme, and Government of India floating rate saving bonds service were availed by city residents during the event. With these additions, citizens can conveniently open Demat trading accounts and National Pension System (NPS) accounts at any of the 45 e-Sampark centres across the city.
In addition, residents can also procure various bonds, including RBI Floating Rate Savings Bonds, capital gain bonds, and sovereign bonds.
