Elaborate arrangements have been made and towering effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkarna and Meghnad have been erected. Showers on Tuesday evening caused minor damages to effigies at some places, but organisers said the show will go on.

At the Dasehra carnival venue in Mundi Kharar, a 'Singapore Airlines' plane has become a centre of attraction, with children and youngsters getting their photographs clicked with the life-size plane structure.
