Electoral awareness campaign



Chandigarh: The NSS unit of Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, organised a three-day electoral awareness campaign. Various activities such as pledge, lecture, nukkad natak and registration of new voters were done in college campus to aware students about the importance of elections and voting. On the first day of campaign Principal Prof Nisha Aggarwal administered the pledge to all the faculty members and students and motivated them to cast their vote in coming elections.

Session on Type 1 Diabetes at PU

Dr HSJ Dental College and Hospital and Rotaract Club HSJ Dental College in collaboration with The Diabetes Foundation and DATRI organised a joint awareness session on type 1 diabetes awareness and stem cell donation awareness at Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital.

The 6th Prof BM Anand Memorial Lecture organised in online mode by Department of Physics, Panjab University. Prof S Ramakrishnan, Director Tata Institute of Fundamental research (TIFR) Mumbai delivered a talk on “Achieving ultra-low temperatures and Physics at those temperatures”.

The Department of Sociology in collaboration with Population Research Centre organised an international webinar on Importance of Field Work in Gender Research by Dr Sharada Srinivasan, Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Gender, Justice and Development, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
