The Chandigarh Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-112) has completed six years of service since its inauguration by the Union Home Minister on September 20, 2019. Launched as a unified helpline for emergency services such as police, health and fire, the system has now evolved into a comprehensive citizen support network, integrating multiple specialised services to enhance public safety and welfare.
