Ex-Deputy CM Chander Mohan assets rise by Rs 11.63 cr in 5 years
Former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress candidate from Panchkula Chander Mohan owns immovable and movable properties worth Rs 80.88 crore. The worth of assets of the Congress leader and his spouse has increased by Rs 11.63 crore in the past five years.
Chander Mohan, who has been an MLA for 17 years, owns a 2017 model Mercedes and a Ford Endeavour collectively. As per his affidavit of 2019, his assets were worth Rs 69.25 crore.
The Congress leader has no property in his name, while his spouse owns agricultural, commercial and residential properties worth Rs 70.41 crore. The family’s land and other immovable properties include about 20 acre land at Beed village of Hisar, a commercial building of 390 square feet at Amravati Enclave near Panchkula, a 100 sq yd plot at Peer Muchhalla and 12 bigha farmhouse land at Jonapur in Delhi. The two collectively own over Rs 85.10 lakh worth of gold ornaments and other precious items. They have deposits of Rs 15.99 lakh in bank accounts and invested Rs 9.13 lakh in bonds and debentures.
