The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a man for posing as a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) and issuing fake receipts to passengers today. He has been identified as Pankaj Kumar of Bihar.

Kalka-Howrah Mail passengers informed officials about the presence of some youths in the coach, who were wearing uniforms of the TTE. Youths boarded the train at the Chandigarh railway station, passengers added. The youths were issuing receipts to them, said passengers. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
