The Finance and Contract Committee of the MC today approved relaxation in the monthly licence fee for kiosk No. 1 to 4 at the night food street in Sector 14.

The committee also discussed the agenda item regarding a contract for animal birth programme and decided that re-tender may be invited. It also decided that a cleanliness drive will be carried out to remove horticulture waste and garbage from vulnerable points. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
