Fatehgarh Sahib admn launches QR code for accessing poll info

District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Sona Thind has announced a social media QR code has been released to provide all kind of election-related information.

The Punjab Chief Election Officer has made the social media platform fully functional to provide all kinds of information related to elections to the common people, she added.

She said by scanning the QR code, the people can connect with the official account of the Chief Election Officer Punjab on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X) and YouTube.

She added that by scanning the QR code, important information related to the elections, latest updates and instructions issued by the Chief Election Officer can also be obtained.

The DEO said the Chief Electoral Officer had kept social media handles active and functional to reach out to maximum voters and has requested the general public to follow the social media platforms so that timely information about the instructions and activities issued by the Election Commission of India can be obtained.
